Family Photo

Figured it was time to post a picture of all of us!

Our Foofy will be flying out to Portland this Saturday and staying with Seans parents (thanks Carmey and Larry) until we get out there. Its a scary time for me, I hope nothing bad happens to Foofy on the long flight. She will be reciving some sedation prior to the flight but I'm sure it will be stressful for her. Who is Serena going to crawl after now???

Party Party Party

There was a mexican fiesta at work the other day to honor our friends Joe and Jennys marriage to eachother! It was sooooo much fun hanging out and playing with everyone. Serena did so well, no fussing at all. Here are some pictures from that wonderful day. Congrats Joe and Jenny.

Snack Time

Our precious little girl has had some hard stools lately so we have started giving her a couple ounces of water with her snack everyday. I decided to give her a sippy cup of water and see how it went....it was great, she did wonderfully. SO, I went out and got her another sippy cup (other than the one in the picture) that has handles and a silicone spout...its a transition cup. She loves it!!!

Now that she has figured the crawling thing out she thinks its time to start going for things on the higher shelves. She now likes to rip papers from my books under the coffee table and pull her books off the bookshelf! She is getting so big so fast!!!

Serena loves her baths, she usually sits up in the deep end and plays for awhile, but lately she has taken to lounging in the tub!

The new house

Well, this morning Sean and I signed our lives away and officially closed on the house in Woodburn, Oregon!! Now we really need to get our house in Kansas City to sell.....anyone interested????? Ok Oregon here we come.....We will be there the 27th of June!
Last night we had Emily and Russ Pearson over for dinner and had a wonderful meal thanks to one of Rachel Rays Recipies!! It was great fun hanging out with them...we are really going to miss them when we are gone! I forgot to take pictures, but oh well.

Sand tastes Yuckie!!

We went to the park again today and of course we had to swing. But then we played in the sand for the first time. She loved the way it felt on her hands and feet, but not so much how it felt on her tounge!! It was a beautiful day in good 'ol missouri....we are sure gonna miss it here!!

My day with Bridgette

This past Sunday we had an open house so we couldn't be there...so "little Miss" and mom went to Bridgettes house for a few hours and played with her and her kiddos, Jessie and Sopie. We had great fun at the park and just hanging out...Thanks Bridgette for having us!!

Swimming Lessons

Last week we started swimming lessons. Serena loves the water but the class is from 530-600 and she is use to going to bed at 7pm. So to say the least, on swim nights we don't get to bed until 8pm. On this particular day, she had napped very poorly all day, so by the time we got to lessons somebody was a Crab Monster!! But we pushed though and made through most of the lesson. She is the only one in her class so we get lots of one on one attention. Don't worry, this is not one of those classes you just let them go and have them fight to swim....we don;t even put her head under!! Its just to get her use to the water. Normally she really enjoys it.

Lovin' the park

Everyday (if weather is ok) we take a walk, and on that walk we pass a park, and at that park we must stop to swing!! This is why, I can't refuse her the joy she has from swinging.

MY TEETH HURT!

So far Serena has her 2 bottom teeth and boy oh boy are they sharp!! She went ahead and took a bite out of mom...not very nice, but we are quickly learning the meaning of the work "NO".
