BIrthday Madness!!

We started the Birthday out with her favorite breakfast, pancakes and bananas!! Then, before we left for a morning hike at Silver creek Falls we let Serena open one present.
She loved this ball and we took it in the car on the way to the Falls where she did not want to share her ball.

Yesterday was Serenas first Birthday!! I just can't believe it and I can't believe how in love with her I am!!

Our little family took a day trip down to Newport this past weekend to go to the aquarium and so Sean could Serf. This video is of Serena eating a pear and dancing at the resturant we ate at for lunch...she was in such a good mood.

Our neighbors

Serena loves the boys next door. If she hears them playing outside, she will run to the window, start pointing and saying "da boys, da boys"!! The other evening we had them over for dinner and Serena had a blast playing with them and trying to keep up with them. The younger one is Ty, he is 3, and the older one is Cole, he is 5. They do a wonderful job playing with Serena.

In the kitchen Serena has a few cabnets and drawers that she is allowed to get into. One of her favorites is the tupperware drawer...this is her creating a small mess, but at least she is entertained!

A longtime friend of Seans and his family came down to stay the night with us and go to Octoberfest. Their little boy is 6 months old, but already putin' the moves on Serena. You will notice in the stroller together he has his arm around her.

BBQ

We went to a BBQ with some folks from Seans work, there were several other kiddos there and the little girls just LOVED to play with Serena. She loved playing with them too!!

New toys

We have been looking for a swing for Serena and finally got one....she loves it!!

The rocking horse I found at a garage sale for $10, its a little big for her now, but she will grow into it!

Walking

This was taken several days ago, so she has become even more efficient at this walking thing. She doesn't crawl much anymore, unless she is tired or upset and she is now able to stand up all on her own!! I can't belive how fast they start walking!!
